MANIKANCHAN SEZ

  • Manikanchan Special Economic Zone inaugurated on 18.11.2003 with WBIDC as its Developer, communicated vide


    Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India letter No.F-2(2)/9/2002-EPZ dated 13.08.2003.

  • The SEZ became operational in the year 2004 and export from the zone started on 28.07.2004.

  • The gross area of land of Manikanchan SEZ is 5 (five) acres. Phase 1 of Manikanchan SEZ was built on 2.75 acres with 1(one) seven


    storied SDF Building having 32 Modules and 1 CF Building having 17 nos. of Modules.

  • The total built up space in SDF Building is 1,41,000 sq. ft. and in CF Building is 55,800 sq.ft.

  • The last 05(five) years FOB value of exports from Manikanchan SEZ is as given below:-
